Theo Theophanous has been the Member for Jika Jika Province since 1988 and is currently the Minister for Energy Industries and Resources.

He was born in Cyprus and was educated at Glenroy High School and then Latrobe University where he achieved a Bachelor of Arts (Honours, First Class) in Politics and Sociology.
